Ali and Matt were married November 16, 2019 at Moulin at Sherman Mills.

From the beginning of the day at The Logan Hotel, it was very obvious why Ali and Matt get along so well. Ali’s sweet, caring personality is a perfect complement to Matt’s happy-go-lucky, confident style. Ali and Matt's friends and family were aglow with energy as the beloved couple prepared to tie the knot. 

The locations of the wedding day were almost as iconic as the couple’s collective energy. The Logan Hotel, where preparations took place, is located in Philadelphia’s buzzing epicenter. Ali's dress was a fresh take on a classic, elegant style. Her father's reaction was understated, but behind his eyes you could tell a lifetime of memories was ever-present. 

Ali and Matt took part in a photo shoot at the Barnes Foundation, a highly-prized photo location with some stunning architecture. Tyler Boye Photography is the consummate expert, being that he can turn any environment into magazine-cover level of beauty and attitude. Always a pleasure to work with Tyler!

Ali and Matt’s ceremony and reception took place at Moulin at Sherman Mills. This spacious venue is located just outside of Philadelphia, allowing guests of all ages to spread out and relax. The bride and groom loved that their location was highly accessible yet slightly secluded. With plenty of parking, multiple adjoining rooms, and an elegant exterior, Moulin is a great place to bring your own style to an event. 

For their ceremony, Ali and Matt had candles set up all the way around the room. The spot lighting was very carefully positioned on the center of attention: the lovely chuppah covered in greenery. Robertson's Flowers supplied the freshest of accoutrements to deck out the space. Bride and groom pledged their lives to each other among parents, under the ceremonial shelter. The aura of the room was otherworldly and magical, but also lighthearted thanks to the heartfelt and funny moments in the bride and groom's personal vows. 

One of our favorite parts of the day (that guests may not even realize) was Lauren James Events. When a wedding coordinator is doing their job well, the bride, groom, and guests will not be sure if they did anything at all. Keeping things running smoothly is a specialty of Lauren James events, and they excel at making sure everything happens on time and with all the right pieces in place. We never worry when Lauren James is on the scene.

Through the rest of the night, Ali and Matt were free to celebrate with everyone they hold dear. Brulee Catering kept everyone refreshed and enjoying tasty bites. EBE Milan 77 was the band that led the dance floor in raucous dancing and rowdy singalongs (See if you can find Matt's shouted anthem in the trailer). With Moulin's open floor plan, the dance floor can stretch from wall to wall.
