The GPVA Unites to Enter WEVA Contest

Attendees included GPVA members Brooke Rudnick, Natalie Neal, Rob Neal, Jordan Oplinger, Glen Elliott, Darrel Aubert, and myself. The pizza, cheesesteaks, chips and soft drinks (it takes longer to edit drunk) consumed helped us all get through a long night. Editing began at 8 PM and ended at 4 AM the next morning.
I wanted the edit to be cozy and fun. So we set up my great room with two screens; a plasma screen brought by Glen and my projector. The arrangement made it easy for everyone to have a part in the edit decisions. Unfortunately, I cannot talk about the concept, the number of shots, or even who donated assets to the project as we must remain anonymous until the winners are announced this coming Tuesday.
It was truly a memorable night for everyone involved. Serious professionals coming together with one goal. Well, OK - there is a $1000 prize for the winning association, and then there’s the bragging rights.
So we are all crossing our fingers for Tuesday night. Wish us luck!
