Carolyn and Steve’s Wedding Published in The Knot Magazine

A friend tricked Carolyn Kuehn (30 and an actuarial assistant) into meeting Steven Dintino (33 and a manager of a company’s account management department). Carolyn’s friend Liz invited her to a “girls” dinner, but also invited Steven and his friend Rob. Steven knew about the set-up beforehand, but Carolyn didn’t find out about the scheme until weeks later. It worked and they started dating soon after. Almost two-and- a-half years into their relationship, Steven took Carolyn back to the spot where he had first told her he loved her, the 16th Street beach in Ocean City, New Jersey. They played football, went for a walk and then watched the waves. When Carolyn suggested they make ice cream sundaes, Steven said he had a better idea, got down on one knee and proposed.
